Topic Dinners are brought to you by the Taiwanese American Professionals – SF / Bay area (TAP-SF) Professional Committee. No hired experts, no lectures, just conversation over food.
This month’s dinner topic:
With the recent Facebook filing estimated to be worth $100 billion, and IPOs of other companies like Zynga, LinkedIn, and GroupOn, social media has become flourished into an industry. But are sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter all really worth the hype?
Come join your fellow TAP members to discuss if social media is here to stay.
1. Is the industry a fad? Does it still have strong growth potential?
2. What value is it really adding? Is the targeted marketing more effective than other sources?
3. How stable are the current industry leaders? Will FB always be dominant?
Cost: Attendees to pre-pay for their own dinner ($20, includes meal, tax, tip) – see below
RSVP required and space limited. RSVP and pre-pay at: https://www.wepay.com/events/tap-social-media
