TAP Community Service: Volunteer at the SFIAAFF Festival Forum

Have a part in San Francisco’s largest annual Asian American film festival! This year Taiwanese American Professionals – SF / Bay area (TAP-SF) volunteers will be helping CAAM with their Festival Forum – the largest event of the SFIAAFF. The event will include performances, artistic showcases and a commemorative program marking the one-year anniversary of the March 11 Japanese tsunami and earthquake, in the hopes of continuing to raise awareness of ongoing rebuilding efforts.

The type of work on this day will entail setting up for the festival, stagehand help, greening, booth assistance help and breakdown. No prior experience is necessary. Volunteers will be rewarded with one complimentary ticket to a movie of their choice at the festival. http://festival.caamedia.org/30/

As this event is an all-day event, we’re offering the following 3 shifts for sign-up. In your email, please state which shift(s) you can sign up for:
Morning shift: 8:00AM-12:00PM; Event setup
Early afternoon shift: 11:30AM-2:30PM; Stage hands, greening, booth assistance help
Late afternoon shift: 2:30PM-5:00PM; Stage hands, greening, booth assistance help, breakdown
