Did you hear? Laughter is the best medicine of all time! Asian American Donor Program (AADP) is hosting a comedy show to elevate awareness of the need for more marrow/stem donors in the National Marrow Donor Program minority pool.
TAP-SF and TaiwaneseAmerican.org are two of several promotional co-sponsors for this event.

The idea for the comedy show was an inspiration from Allan Maravilla. Allan wanted to honor the memory of his cousin who had passed away from leukemia. His cousin was unable to find a marrow/stem cell donor. Since ethnicity is crucial to matching patients with donors, Allan decided that he wanted to set-up a comedy show that would attract primarily an Asian American audience, to draw more potential donors who are Asian/Asian Pacific Islander and multi-racial.
Asian American Donor Program (AADP) is a community non-profit (501c3) organization geared towards saving lives. We are an official recruitment group of the Be the Match Registry, formerly the National Marrow Donor Program, specialized in conducting outreach and donor registration drives in the Asian, Pacific Islander, and Multi-racial communities. AADP now outreaches to the entire ethnic minority community.
