UC Berkeley’s Taiwanese Students Association (TSA) will be holding a fundraising event on Tuesday (2/14) and Wednesday (2/15) for World Vision by selling candied fruits, a traditional Taiwanese treat that combines the freshness of fruits with the sweetness of sugar (perfect for Valentine’s)! All of the proceeds will go towards helping underprivileged children in Taiwan. While the majority of us can attend school with no serious financial concerns, a number of indigenous Taiwanese children in poverty are required to work in order to attend school. This fundraiser will be a chance for all of us to spread some love to these underprivileged children and provide them with an opportunity to be educated. We sincerely welcome all types of support. Just a small donation can tremendously improve a child’s life! So let’s joint efforts to assist these poor children in Taiwan!
