Join Taiwanese American Organizations at Boston’s Cambridge River Festival

Date: Saturday, June 4, 2011
Time: 12:00 Noon – 6:00 p.m.
Location: Winthrop Park in Harvard Square

The Formosan Association for Public Affairs – Young Professional Group of Boston will have a table next to the Taiwanese American Association at the Cambridge River Festival. There will be a parade beginning at 11:20am at Winthrop Park in Harvard Square and will feature Taiwanese Grand Prince puppets! If you want to march in the parade, meet at 11:00 am in Winthrop Park.

Visit the FAPA-YPG and TAA tables where will they plan on running several games including ring toss+Taiwan trivia, kicking shuttlecocks, and paper cutting.

The 32nd Annual Cambridge River Festival is a one-day celebration of the arts, attracting 200,000 annually. This FREE event along the banks of the Charles River features jazz, folk, roots and world music performances, dance, art demonstrations, family art-making activities and over 100 specialty food purveyors and craftspeople!
