The North American Taiwanese Women’s Association 2nd generation chapter in NorCal kick off event of the year, a baking lesson and Tiger Mother book discussion, was a success. Here we go again!

Join us for a workshop and discussion on Taiwanese Identity, lead by Naomi Hsu, Sociology Ph.D. candidate at Berkeley. She brings to the table her experience and academic work on Taiwanese identities among immigrants and descendants of immigrants from Taiwan.

And of course, food! We will be making Taiwanese dumplings, a hands on cooking demo for all who wish to participate.

Location: Four Seasons Residences, Apt. 22G. Market Street between 3rd and 4th, between Powell and Montgomery BART stations. If driving, park in Jessie Square Parking garage – take Stevensen alley, before you get to the Four Seasons hotel entrance. $3/hr
