Celebrate Taiwanese American Heritage Week!

Asian Pacific American Heritage Month is celebrated nationwide during the month of May to honor the cultures, traditions, and achievements of Asian Pacific Islanders in the United States. Since 1999, Taiwanese American Heritage Week has been celebrated starting each Mother’s Day Weekend during the month of May.

This year, whether you’re of Taiwanese heritage or not, we hope you’ll take some time to support our community through attending an event in your part of the country, checking out one of the many active organizations for all ages, or supporting the emerging talent that we’ve highlighted here on our website.

We have much to be proud of as a community, and we take pride in sharing our unique Taiwanese American stories and successes within the context of Asian America.
