Just in time for the spring warm weather and Earth Day, Taiwanese American Professionals – SF / Bay area (TAP-SF) invites you to get down and dirty with Mother Nature. As part of TAP-SF’s new Community Service Series, you’ll be helping plant vegetables and flowers, build garden beds, as well as compost and worm care at San Francisco’s Hayes Valley Farm! You’ll get to appreciate the hard work that goes into acquiring our food sources, as well as become better connected with fellow TAP members.

For those that need a bit of extra energy, let’s meet at La Boulange Café (500 Hayes Street) at 9:30am for some breakfast before heading to the farm together. Otherwise, please arrive at Hayes Valley Farm on time to meet with us at 11am.

*What to bring?
Please bring work gloves and gardening tools if you have them, as well as comfortable shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty, sunscreen, a water bottle, a hat, and a positive attitude!

*What is Hayes Valley Farm?
Hayes Valley Farm is a 2.2-acre non-profit community-run farm and urban agriculture education and research project located in the heart of San Francisco. Its mission is to serve as a community and agricultural hub encouraging San Francisco residents to connect with one another, grow their own food, and learn about sustainable ecological systems.

*This is a FREE event and we’d love to see your enthusiasm and care for the community!
