It’s the year of the rabbit and you’re invited to come celebrate with your favorite Taiwanese American Professionals – SF / Bay area (TAP-SF) friends at the ultimate game night! Games we will be setting up include: mahjong, Chinese chess, card games, Wii, carnival games and much more.
Not sure how to play mahjong? No worries. We will setup a “beginners” table so you can brush up on your skills. Feel like you are a mahjong master? You will also have your chance to prove yourself in a mahjong tournament. Prizes will be awarded. For those of you who just want to socialize and watch people play, we won’t stop you.
Of course, no Lunar New Year party could be hosted without food so we will be serving delicious dishes from Liou’s House, a local, authentic Taiwanese restaurant in the Bay Area. Here’s a sneak preview into a sampling of the expansive menu: stir fry vermicelli, salt & pepper fish fillet, and black pepper steak!
Have specific requests for other games you want to play? Post them to the event wall and we will try to accommodate where possible.
