FAPA-YPG NY/NJ Chapter is hosting this special event. Eileen Lin, YPG Coordinator for the Formosan Association for Public Affairs based in Washington DC, will be the featured guest for the evening.

This event is open to anyone to attend, for those who are new to Taiwan advocacy, and for those who are veterans of advocacy, and everyone else in between. Learn a brief history of Taiwan, the history and current status of US-Taiwan Relation, domestic Taiwan politics, Taiwanese awareness, and Taiwanese American advocacy.

This event is geared to allow everyone with different levels of understanding to learn something, and give you all a chance to meet each other. It will help you so that when you are doing outreach activities to the general public, you can be knowledgeable enough to answer questions.

This event will be conducted in open discussion format, so everyone will feel comfortable to join in the discussion.
