Congrats to Shawna Yang Ryan, Nominee for the Page Turner Fest Award!

Since 1998, The Asian American Writers’ Workshop has presented the highest literary honor for writers of Asian American descent. Past winners of the award have included Pulitzer Prize winner Jhumpa Lahiri, National Book Award winner Ha Jin, and Guggenheim Fellow Arthur Sze.

They recently presented the long list for their Page Turner literary awards, which includes one of our favorite authors in the Taiwanese American community – Shawna Yang Ryan! Check out our previous April 2009 interview with her:
