Formosa Foundation

As a non-profit 501(c)3 organization the Formosa Foundation depends completely on private resources and the generous support of the Taiwanese-American community. Your donation to the Formosa Foundation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Since our founding in 2001, we have fought for the acknowledgement of Taiwan’s rightful place in the international community by asking the United States to establish a “one China, one Taiwan” policy that grants full diplomatic recognition to Taiwan. Since our establishment, the Formosa Foundation has challenged conventional wisdom and promoted new ideas with regards to outreach and education towards American policymaking elite as well as the general public. We have a proven track record on issues that are of importance to Taiwan, the rights of the island’s people, and its future.
