TaiwaneseAmerican.org and Taiwanese American Professionals in San Francisco invite you to join us for a fun afternoon of learning and networking! Come learn how to brew tea the right way and hear the story behind each sip of tea.
Mr. Thomas Shu, the “Ambassador of Taiwan Tea,” will host an in-depth workshop on the various different types of teas, health benefits, and processes, and will also conduct a brief demonstration. Throughout the workshop, Thomas will teach you how to brew tea and explain Taiwanese tea history, the effect of water temperature on tea, and how to detect the aroma and color of the tea before consumption.
The Berkeley event is co-sponsored by UC Berkeley’s Taiwanese American Student Association and Taiwanese Student Association. It is also sponsored by UC Berkeley’s ASUC (student government) and East Asian Union.
