How to prepare yourself for the opportunities in the new decade while moving on from the “Decade from Hell”

Within every crisis, there is an opportunity to be had. The recent issue of Times magazine referred to the first ten years of the new millennium as a “Decade from Hell”. Starting with the burst of the tech bubble and ending with the collapse of the housing market, the first 10 years of the 21st century will likely go down as the decade with the worst economic recession for the United States since the Great Depression. However, a decade of turbulence has also produced an abundance of opportunities waiting to be discovered.

As we evaluate the new decade, we must keep in mind repercussions from the old one. In this panel discussion, successful business leaders will share their lessons of the last decade and how they faced challenges from the recession. They will also share their thoughts and tips on how to prepare for the coming future, especially as young professionals or to-be professionals entering the workforce.
